MustOfBeenDrunk
ESPN.com news services Terrell Owens has agreed on a one-year, $2 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Tuesday. Owens Owens According to the source, the deal also includes another $2 million in incentives. Owens spent last season with the Buffalo Bills. He caught 55 passes for 829 yards and hauled in five touchdowns as the Bills finished the season 6-10. The St. Louis Rams dropped out of the bidding for Owens on Monday and a source told Schefter earlier Tuesday the New York Jets expressed interest in the 36-year old wide receiver. Owens was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round in 1996 out of the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. He has split his 14-year career between San Francisco, the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter contributed to this report. bpwallace49
Wow . . . just what TO needed. A nice quiet team with plenty of solid character team leaders that can contend for the Super Bowl. Perfect situation really . . .
Capt. Stanky
This says more about Antonio Bryant's bulky knee. I would expect him to be cut soon.
BeeR
What y'all said. Owens jumps by leaps and bounds on my draft sheet.
Bronco Billy
Super Bowl. Yeah, he & Chadochocincodumbassjohnson ought to be quite the cute couple. I'm certain one won't be whining relentlessly in the huddle if the other gets more targets...

Henry Muto
Sweet just drafted Owens in the 14th round of my league on my Sunday slow draft. I just happen to be on the clock when the story broke he was likely to sign with Cincy on Sunday.

Terrell Ocho Uno has a nice ring to it, he'd still be TO or TOU Edited July 27, 2010 by flemingd
Hugh B Tool
B F'n D They won't be able to put eight in the box to stop Cedric. Ocho, Gresham and TO will tear cover twos apart. Actually like Gresham the most out of the three. That being said, he will implode this team as he has done with his past teams. I hope Palmer tells him to shut the F up in the huddle, because there are some major egos to make happy now, and you know he will be complaining on and off the field. Thing is they needed to put a whole lot more points on the board than last year and this may help there. Just think he will do more harm than good over the course of the season. People will surely be taking him way too early now IMO

Charles
Just think he will do more harm than good over the course of the season. I know there's not a lot of proof around that would back me up, where as there's a TONNNNNN that will back you up, but with his age and declining ability (even he has to see it) I can't imagine him doing a lot of moaning and groaning this year. He may have an alpha male persona, but 85 practically begged them to sign TO, and that's got to make TO realize he's the 2nd dog in the huddle. He may not do much better than what he did in Buffalo, but I think this was his best case scenario and I find it hard to imagine that he'll screw it up. Plus, again, he's on a one-year deal and won't have much room for complaint. That, or I =

Egret
Good fit for him. The twitterverse has been buzzing for awhile about this. TO, Ochocinco, and Palmer all seem very excited about this. That's got to be a good thing for the offense.
Riffraff
Benson's stock should go up a little. Not only less defenders in the box, but Owens is also a terrific blocker downfield.
yo mama
I like it. At a minimum, we can now expect a reality show called "Real Wide Receivers of Cincinnati."
rcswildcat
WHO DEY!!!!!!! Im not sure why Im excited, I know it wont be any different than philly, dal or sf. But if Palmer and Chad are happy, maybe we stand a chance. lots of weapon on offense, and marvin has his ways of turning these trouble makers into players on the field. Cowboyz1
TO has been NO problem what so ever for years now. He played well in Dallas and if not for our Rookies stepping up and making him expendable as they continue to get younger and faster he would most likely still be a Cowboy. Buffalo is just to far away for T.O. to be happy there. He is a guy that gets teams over the hump and Cincy could well win their division with him this year. I have completely changed my mind about T.O. in that I watched him help our young wide outs and perform. He stayed after practice all the time to help our young guys. He stays out of trouble off the field and shows a Jerry Rice like work effort. He wants to win and sometimes wants it so bad he says the wrong things. Can't blame a guy like that. I think it was more Mcnabb then Owens in Philly. T.O. has been a model guy after maturing so I don't get what all the caution is about. He is great for your young recievers and produces on the field. He is in superb shape and shows by example the work ethic it takes to be elite. Why wouldn't you want a guy like that? TO is a good fit in Cincy, a vet QB with Chad on the other side. Watch out guys, TO may very well put up some solid numbers like he has his whole carreer. I predict 1000 yards and 10 td's for TO this year and would be glad to nab him in the third round.
