A 2nd 30+ year old WR to go along with CJ (who's 32 or 33), Bryant (who turns 30 this year or next) and Andre Caldwell, along with rookie Grisham (though they never throw to the TE so that's jury's out) are already there. So what have they done? Made Bryant the 3rd and Caldwell the 4th? Seems to me they were already deep and adding TO to a Ochocinco locker room seems more like diminishing returns to me. Plus, I think it's terribly short sighted since it will hinder Caldwell's development - who should be with the team in 3-4 years where TO will be long gone by then. Coach1310 Posted July 28, 2010 Share Posted July 28, 2010 Palmer didn't have much value before, in my opinion and I don't think this does a lot for it. Just decreases Chad and Bryant's value. The Bengals got to taste the playoffs a little last year and Carson liked it. I don't think Palmer can open it up and gun it downfield anymore. I watched a lot of his games last year and his velocity is gone and accuracy is off. I think that elbow injury turned him into an average at best quarterback.
