BeeR
Strats can obviously vary, esp in an auction league, and you have to consider league sizes etc etc, but generally, who do you like/hope to get and who (among the more likely) will you avoid? RB2: I'd love Grant but suspect he may end up someone's low-end RB1. Greene or Benson would also work. Somehow I'm leery of D Williams due to Stewart. I know they both do well but that RBBC thing makes me nervous. If I wait or am low on $ (auction lg) I might opt for someone like Thomas or even Mathews, who should see tons of action. WR2: tons of options there. Guys like Rice, Boldin or Colston probably top my list, maybe settling for guys like Bowe or Crabtree. Despite PPR and a better track record by WRs at the position, I'm still leaning to more emphasis on that RB2. I guess some habits die hard.... In 12 and 16 team leagues Rice and Colston are #1 WR.
Capt. Stanky
This specificly coincides with where your draft position is. If you are out of the top 7 picks (AP, CJ, Rice, MJD, Gore, AJ, Turner), I think you have to grab a top WR or QB in the 1st. Typically, I would be totally against that approach, but I just think that 2nd tier of RB's has too many ?'s to feel good taking one of them as a 1st round pick. You can get a RB in the 2nd in that scenario, but I still think the value is in WR and QB. My point with this all being that your #2 RB and WR can change drasticly depending on your draft position. RB #2 Knowshon Moreno - A sprained ankle in the 2nd preseason game slowed him for the majority of the year. I don't think he was 100% all year. I expect a big step forward in his 2nd year. Projected Stats: 1200 RYD's 50 Rec for 400 yds.12 total TD's WR #2 Steve Smith (NYG) - This guy just doesn't get enough love. Even if Nicks emerges as allot of people have predicted, Smith will remain Eli's security blanket. The fact that he moves into the slot in 3 receiver sets highlights his value even more. He's going as a WR # 2 when I believe he will put up WR #1 stats in a PPR Projected Stats 95 Rec 1200 yds 8 TD's

Course being in an auction league I can always go stacked at WR and hope for RB bargains later, but as I say that's not my usual M.O. This specificly coincides with where your draft position is. Re Smith, seems to me he's going about right - great WR2 with WR1 upside. He wont' repeat last year's #s though, and I also can see Nicks catching or even surpassing him..... MTSuper7
RB2 - Moreno, Charles (he still seems likely to slip to the 3rd rd.), J. Stew, Pierre Thomas WR2 - Either Steve Smith, maybe Bowe (hoping he falls far enough to be more like my WR3), Hines Ward (undervalued, and he'd be a serviceable WR2 in PPR if somehow the early value picks end up RBs or a top tier TE slides or something). Guys I'd rather have as WR3 but I fear will be drafted as WR2 in most leagues: H. Nicks, J. Maclin, M. Sims-Walker, M. Wallace.

Interesting you would think Sky Walker would even be considered a WR3. He was erratic as heck last year in regards as productivity, but ended the season with low WR1 high WR2 numbers. Injury concerns and the potential emergence of some other receivers have me a bit more cautious about him... I'm sure someone will reach for him in most of my leagues based on last year. Coach1310
RB's: Jacobs, Barber, FJones, McCoy... crazily almost all of the NFC East except Washington WR's: Boldin, Bowe, Sims-Walker, Wallace, Harvin(with Favre) I'm hoping to land two of the top 10 WRs and roll the dice with 3-4 mid tier RBs as I see a lot more value in the mid tier Rb's then the WR's... That's exactly what I did with this TEAM I think it's the best approach if you have a late pick. I was 10 of 10.
BeeR
RB's: Jacobs, Barber, FJones, McCoy...?? McCoy should go well ahead of those others. WR's: Boldin You must play in a 6 team league blah blah blah
Avernus
?? McCoy should go well ahead of those others. You must play in a 6 team league blah blah blah his team is pretty stacked even though he has a lot of questions at RB... he still has a productive RB (if not 2) by owning Barber/Felix....and then McCoy could very well hover around the top 10 RB's if healthy....and Jacobs will produce more if the Giants go back to a 3-RB attack... his WR's are silly-good with Boldin/Bowe and then alternating Sims-walker and Harvin at the 3 spot...bye weeks won't be too bad for this team... dula14
RB2: Ryan Mathews is just a rookie but I'm pretty high on him this season. Apparently I'm not the only one, as I've seen him ranked in the top 10 rbs by some. WR2: I think several have already mentioned this guy, but I love the other Steve Smith. In PPR leagues, he will really have a lot of value.
Coach1310
?? McCoy should go well ahead of those others. In a cheat sheet designed for me, by the Huddle, including my leagues parameters, McCoy is ranked #22 and Jacobs is ranked #21. He said RB2..... How many places have McCoy top 10 or 12 ????? BeeR
I guess I like McCoy more than most then. He looked promising last year - great receiver, and IMO even if (repeat if) healthy, Bell won't steal THAT many touches. Plus his style lends itself a lot more to staying healthy than Jacobs, who is often dinged up, and can't catch...he ended up taking a real back seat to the passing game last year, and also does his share of sharing.
