  1. 1. How are you charged for trades in your league?

    • No trade fees
      8
    • Flat fee per trade -- no matter how many players
      9
    • Fee per player traded away -- you give up 2 guys you pay for both of them
      0
    • Fee per player acquired in trade -- you give up one player for two, you pay for each of the players you got in the trade and the other guy pays for the 1 that he gets in the deal.

How do you handle trade fees in your league?

Here's an example of each answer. Trades cost $2 in your league.

You trade Chris Johnson to get Ray Rice and Roddy White from a team called Vaginal Hubris.

What do you pay?

1. Nothing -- no fees

2. Flat $2 for a trade regardless of number of players involved (Vaginal Hubris also pays $2)

3. $2 for the one player you gave up (Vaginal Hubris pays $4 -- $2 for each of the 2 players he have up)

4. $4 -- $2 for each of the players you acquired in the trade (Vaginal Hubris pays $2 for the 1 player he acquired in the deal)

5. Something else (like you and Vaginal Hubris each play $3 -- 3 players total involved in deal at $2ea and then divided evenly)

Thanks for your input, all.

I have a system in my local which I modified about 2 years ago...

before it was $5 per transaction and if a player is injured and missing at least 1 game then you place that player on IR and get a free move ; when said player returns, you need to drop a player to get down to the required 9 starters/9reserves, but 9 reserves is optional up until the transaction deadline passes, at this point you need to have 9 starters/9 reserves/0 IR players and the only way you can make an add/drop after the transaction deadline would be if you had nobody left at said position....(also 5 free transactions to start the season ; the live draft goes up to round 15 and you can leave after that or you can stick around to use up to 3 of your 5 free transactions to fill out your roster or wait and see what shakes down between then and the start of the season)

now, it's a little different...

you still get 5 free transactions initially, but after that you pay $10 which you get 10 transactions and then when you exceed 10 transactions, then you owe an additional $20 for another 10 moves and then $30 for the following 10 and so forth....

the rest is the same for the transaction deadline
