diehardskinsfan
Last year I took Steve Slaton in the second round and he was a disappointment all year to say the least. I think he has too much talent to be a back up, but his major case of the dropsies will have him backing up for life.
BeeR
Once when I was a kid I stole a piece of bubble gum from 7-11.

TDFFFreak
Hubba-Bubba was one of my favorite gums growing up. I just like saying the name out loud. My cat doesn't like Hubba-Bubba. She's more of a Juicy Fruit kind of cat.
Bronco Billy
Here's your basic conundrum. Coaches are willing to trade running the ball for passing the ball for the simple reason that while running the ball doesn't give you the potential larger regular gains that passing the ball does, it is a safer way to move down the field as well as controlling the clock more. If a runner turns the ball over, the advantage gained in safety and time management is negated and your team loses an opportunity to score while simultaneously giving the other team an additonal opportunity to score. For most coaches, that's not acceptable. So while you may think that Slaton is way too talented, his proclivity to put the rock on the carpet will probably keep him off the field a lot more due to a lack of trust by his HC. sportfreak
Pure speed can be successful at WR, but as an NFL RB you have to be able to take a hit and Slaton can't do that. He's a paper doll with a huge fumbling problem. I can't really say I'm shocked, he's so fast I doubt he was hit hard many times all the way through Pop Warner, High School and at West Virginia -- however the NFL is a different story, no matter who you are you are going to be smashed many times a game. That being said, he's still a good value pick in PPR leagues, but I wouldn't touch him in a non-PPR.
wolfer
Already fumbled at the goal-line in preseason action. Nonetheless Tate's unfortunate injury opens the door for Slaton to be relevant the way he was late last year; 10-12 touches, the odd Rec. TD. If you like that in a mid-to-late rounder, he's yours. Hey Beer when I was a kid I got banned from a 7-11 for fighting in an aisle, knocked over a bunch of stuff heh.

Puddy
When I was a teenager a couple of friends and I started our own short-lived rap group. The bubblegum rappers. I was Bubbalicious and my co-lead was Bazooka Joe (yeah he had the cooler name). We also had a heavy dude that would beat box for us, he was.....Hubba Bubba. Oh and that name doesn't give you a bunch of street cred. Even in the eighties. Plus I need Slaton to be relevant in my dynasty league

BS Miscreant
What ? I kinda liked the idea of Slaton as later value until I found out he put the ball on the ground already. He may still have some value but he killed me last year.

He may still have some value but he killed me last year. He killed me too, I still managed to squeek out a win but Slaton was irrelevant. I picked up Harrison from the Browns and had him on the bench for his 40some point game. I think I threw up a little in my mouth when I saw all those points on my bench. diehardskinsfan
How did your team do in week 5 last year? My lowest point total of the year and I was beaten by the guy who knew nothing about fantasy at all, they guy took Glen Coffee in the second round. It was Aaron Rodgers bye week, and I had Garrard in who got me a whole 3 points. Slaton had me 8 points and he was only 1 point behind my top scorer that week.
