thanks for this recipe, I've always wondered how to do this...I had a coffee crusted steak at Capital Grille in dallas--I think they used Kona coffee on theirs. It was delicious. Too bad I couldn't have some red wine with it---I was prego at the time:)

This came out fantastic. I had done these steaks before but adding the reduction takes this to an entirely new level. It will definitely be added to the special times rotation.

Did you serve the reduction on top of the steak or on the plate? Just askin', ya know?

I put it on the steak but given the time I would put it on the plate.
