BeeR
Bowe the man? Chambers? "WRBC?" Not that I expect amazement from either, but for those lower picks.....Bowe seems the easy fav for people in drafts but I'm not so sure.
Goopster24
Was aiming for Chambers in my league that just drafted but missed out. Liked what he did last season near the end. I like Bowe but I feel he has been going too high. Better options out there value wise.
Chief Dick
I think Bowe will have a very good season. I think Fitzgerald put a bug in his ear that if he expects to earn any kind of second contract he needs to step it up now. Chambers I think will be some good value as Goop pointed out. He would be a decent 3rd WR option I think. McCluster of course is worth a flyer. A TE to just kind of keep an eye on: Tony Moeaki. Not draftable at this point, but someone to keep an eye on early. What changes we should expect with Weis as OC, relative to Haley? Weis' ND offense seemed predictable, but I don't know how that's going to translate back to the pro level. Bowe is getting drafted like last year never happened.

I'm curious about him myself and don't watch many KC games. Is Weis planning on adding passes to the TE in his offense? That would be a new wrinkle for him. Otherwise Moeaki is just the 2nd coming of Ben Watson :

This is sticking in my mind also and I've been guilty of it. Chambers has been a bust for so long I'm used to ignoring him, but....
Goopster24
Chambers went in round 13 in my home draft: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Ah...amp;hl=en#gid=

True. Right now he is just painting the fence and waxing on and off. He doesnt know why yet Edited August 18, 2010 by whomper

bushwacked
Bowe is getting drafted like last year never happened. Really? Last year, in PPR leagues, he was generally getting drafted in the 3rd round, now I see him typically going in the 5th round. If you rule out his suspension, his points per game indicate he was a valid, yet disappointing, #3 WR or flex type position scorer. Is he going to regress from last year? Maybe, I wouldn't bet on it. Is someone in your league going to score on drafting him as a #3 WR? I'd put more money on that. Bill Parsons
I love Chambers as my 4th WR, taken in double-digit rounds. Great risk-versus-reward pick.
MTSuper7
There is reason to be optimistic about Bowe after he's been doing all the right things so far this summer. He is going later than last year generally in drafts - and in round 5 he's not bad value. I like him as a WR3 which could be round 5 depending on how the draft has gone to that point. But I think he will put up respectable WR2 numbers and outperform his ADP. As for Chambers, he's definitely worth a late round flier in the 13th. The Chiefs are going to throw quite a bit, and Chambers should be serviceable in spot starts. I wouldn't feel comfortable having to count on him every week, but fortunately he's going late enough where it's unlikely that would happen. BeeR
IMO flip a coin on who is "the man" for this team, so I'll flip a much cheaper option in Chambers vs Bowe.

BeeR
I disagree. Both appear equally capable, in fact Chambers' might be higher.
bushwacked
Chambers is a 32-year old veteran entering his 11th year and has logged in one 1,000 yard season. We've almost certainly witnessed Chambers best year numbers wise and they were generally matched by Bowe in his 2nd season. Scooby's Hubby
Scooby and I got Bowe with the 4.07 pick in the 16 team Better Luck Next Year. Right after Simms-Walker and right before Crabtree. I think Bowe was the 31st WR taken in that draft, so we feel that Bowe was a steal there. It is a 1 pt. PPR league. He is our 3rd WR, we also have Randy Moss and Sidney Rice. Edited August 21, 2010 by Scooby's Hubby
bushwacked
I disagree. Both appear equally capable, in fact Chambers' might be higher. I'm going to reiterate my August speculation, that Bowe's ceiling is just a tad bit higher than Chris Chamber's ceiling. ETA: And props to Chief Dick. This is why you should listen to homer's opinions during the pre-season. Edited November 29, 2010 by bushwacked
