Rovers
Cromartie has played great in Ryan's man cover schemes so far. I am extremely happy the Jets got him, especially with the Revis situation. What did you think of Cromartie going into the 2008 season? He won't be asked to make many tackles. He just has to play in man coverage very well. SD's system wasn't a good fit for him. He's playing great so far. Should have had 2 piks against the Giants. (against Eli) Extremely happy he's a Jet.

As much as I've bagged on him, he does look a lot better in Ryan's scheme. I agree with you, as long as he's paid to cover and not make tackles he should be plenty good. He's also responsible for maybe the funniest moment on Hard Knocks... How many three year olds can one guy have? I bet Shawn Kemp blushed when he saw that. McBoog
... He won't be asked to make many tackles. Change "many" to "any" and you will be happy! He wasn't asked to make many tackles in San Diego either. The biggest tackle he didn't make was against your Jets in the playoff game. I'm not surprised you like him. BTW, Cromartie had 4 tackles and no whiffs yesterday in less than a half. Keep fishing, but try using a hook and a little bait next time. MikesVikes
Deon Sanders wasn't asked to make many tackles. But why should you when you play defense?
