    • I'd take him in the secound round - he is elite, in a passing offense and will make do

    • I would take him in the third round, right behind the top 5 or so QBs

    • If he reaches the fourth round, I might be willing to take a chance

I ended up with Rivers in both the leagues I've drafted so far: 5.09 in one, then at the 4-12/5.01 turn in the other. I have Rivers as my last solid starting QB before you have to go with a committee approach. Personally, I think VJax was overrated and Rivers will be fine this year.

 

 

exactly...I think Gates is the only "real deal" option in the passing game - Rivers helped make VJax good because the system favored him....I fully expect some other WR in the system to step up and get 1000+ yds and about 7-8 TD's...maybe more if said player gets hot or if it's Gates who benefits...
