ABearWithFurniture Posted August 24, 2010 Share Posted August 24, 2010 I know it's only pre-season but if this game is any indication the Cardinals are in for a very long year...Hightower looks like he's running with lead shoes on his feet and Leinart, well Matt looks just like he did a few years ago which is not very good...Derek Anderson should be in the lineup come October...either that or the Titans defense found their 2008 mojo. On the other hand, both Vince Young and Chris Johnson look very good...and I may have to take a flyer on Nate Washington in some leagues. I gotta believe Hightower is that starter still, but that line is not set up for the running game they are trying to set up. Both ARI QBs look horrid, same old Leinart and same old DA. I did like Suzi interviewing him on the sidelines though, basically asking him why he can't seem to get it done...and him replying he just needs to watch more film...and not get blitzed so much. I love seeing some guys in my drafts taking Fitzgerald as a 1st or 2nd round pick. I would not go near the man with a 10 ft pole just because of who his rock tossers are. The one play that told me all I need to know about Leinart was after a hit. He gets hit as he is throwing and completed the pass - great, wonderful. Very next play he had plenty of time but rushed the throw and missed a wide open receiver. That's all I needed to see. The guy doesn't want to play, he's too worried about getting hit. God, he even talks like a loser, making excuses for not getting a first down, complaining of having the 'house' thrown at him on every play, blah, blah, blah. LOSER. This guy is a loser, they'd be better off with a Delhomme, at least he has heart and a will to win, even if he does suck. Leinart has no traits of a competitor.
