Puddy
Personally, I deal with this on a case by case basis. For example...I had my first draft of the year last Friday. My 4th year in the league (I've won twice ) and there is this one guy who is sort of Megan Foxy. He walked in to the draft with a Borders bag in hand. He pulled out some magazine and that was his homework. Somewhere around round 7 or 8 he drafted Ben Tate. I kept my mouth shut. About 5 picks go by and someone told him that Tate was out for the year. He was all bent out of shape about us not telling him. I didn't feel bad at all. He yelled about karma, blah...blah... Then I had my second draft last night. A friend of mine drafted Ben Tate in like the 14th round. I told him he's out for the year. Funny thing is he still decided to keep him It's a keeper league that penalizes one round the following year so maybe he thinks he will keep him for a 13th rounder next year. He's not very smart. Oh and the whole karma thing...I drafted Sidney Rice in the 5th round last Friday.
Lucky11
B. especially if it's a live draft with friends. nothing makes a guy learn faster than being ridiculed mercilessly by a room full of guys after making bad pick. and if he doesn't learn, then just keep the donations coming. Jimmy Neutron
Totally depends on the guy, not the league or money. If he's a know-it-all-tool, I keep my mouth shut. If it's a guy that's farily new to the hobby, or a guy I think would do the same for another, I clue him in... That said, I'm also the guy that plants purposely bad spreadsheets and ff rags printed printed in April around the room to "help" my fellow drafters...
