JUMbotron
Latest Moreno news Posted August 29, 2010, 3:12 pm MT by Mike Klis I’m watching the Broncos work out their injured guys 3 hours prior to their preseason kickoff with the Steelers at Invesco Field at Mile High. And from here, running back Knowshon Moreno and receiver Demaryius Thomas don’t look anywhere near close to returning. Both are running and cutting very gingerly. Then again, left tackle Ryan Clady wasn’t moving all that well prior to preseason game 2 last week and he returned to practice a few days later on a limited basis. Considering Moreno suffered his hamstring injury Aug. 1 _ four weeks ago today _ either he’s a slow healer or he received a least a partial tear. I’m betting on the latter. Bronco Billy
Hi JUM! Be careful how much stock you put in Klis' report. The last time he did anything athletically was when he had to sprint to get a beer when the keg was going dry at a high school party. Think he pulled a hammy doing it... JUMbotron
More on Moreno (or lack of Moreno), and Buckhalter is apparently not ready yet either: http://broncotalk.net/ Published on Sun Aug 29 17:30 Running back LenDale White will make his Broncos debut tonight after hurting his hamstring during his second practice with the team. In fact, White is listed as the Broncos’ starting tailback (full starting lineup changes). JUM
Bronco Billy
Moreno did not start and LenWhale White, who is suspended the first 4 weeks, started and is playing the whole first series (and not doing a whole hell of a lot except falling in the hole). WashingtonD
Moreno may be the new Fragile Freddy...except without the production
wolfer
Our Broncos fanatic at Friday's draft was taunting Moreno mercilessly all night and he tumbled to be in round 6. Time to listen to the Broncos fans...
Avernus
I don't even have the guy in my top 45 overall... I won't even consider him an option on draft day...
piratesownninjas
I'll take him. I've got faith that he'll put up numbers. He put up over 1000 yards and nearly 10 TD's last year as a rook. It's not as if he's missed multiple regular season games just yet.
piratesownninjas
and he did that on a slightly injured leg. He'll play. It's just shocking how quick people are to jump from one bandwagon to the next. Last year at this time everyone was riding his jock, and after a 1,160 yard, 9 touchdown season he's suddenly fragile and unproductive. It's insanity. piratesownninjas
yup It's as insane as M. Night Shamalamdingdong still making movies. What a twist! Ohhhhhhhhhhhh A Red Door... His movies are so deep. Like a river.
Furd
I know that if I was an NFL back, particularly a starter, I would do everything that I could to hurry back from an injury to play in an exhibition game.
Bronco Billy
I know that if I was an NFL back, particularly a starter, I would do everything that I could to hurry back from an injury to play in an exhibition game. Well, there's certainly no player on the roster anywhere close to threatening his job. That's a good point.

And BB is spot on with Klis... Just read this blurb Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (hamstring) could be in pads for practice Tuesday, Aug. 31, reports CBSSports.com, according to head coach Josh McDaniels. 561427
so who is the guy to own in the back field? Is there any fantasy relevance to buckhalter or White? Im in the market for an extra RB and there arent many around so i need to sift through all the injuries to find my gem.
