Coach1310
There are two players I really covet who are ranked in roughly the same spot. They play different positions and I would LOVE to have both. Do I reach for one of them and hope it works out?? I have no issue with reaching for a guy I want and watching him struggle. That bothers me much less than not pulling the trigger and watching him put up the numbers I thought he could for someone else. What do you recommend??? **I know I haven't listed the players involved... that normally skews people's persepective and opinion, so please bear with me. Big Country
Does one address a more "need" position for you? If yes, then I would jump on that one over the other to hopefully address a need.

Also, if neither really fills a need then go with the value player first since the reach player has a better chance of possibly dropping back to you. You may hate playing the safe pick, but you have less of a chance of getting burned & a better chance of getting both. rattsass
If you truly value them equally, and do not need one position more than the other, sometimes I would use playoff schedule as a final yardstick.

I don't value them EXACTLY equally, but they are both climbing boards a bit and I think they BOTH can provide great value when looking at their production at years end. I know the same route is to hope they slide, but I just don't see it......
ChampSampson
if its a WR, pick the one on the worse NFL team. Hopefully one that throws a lot being behind, but isn't so bad they go 3 and out every time. if its a RB, pick the one on the better NFL team. check out the strength of schedule, obv. flip a coin. Scooby
call me crazy but I have the 2 Ryans (Matthews & Grant) ranked roughly the same, though I slightly lean towards Matthews....happened in a draft this weekend, my brother in law picked Matthews, I picked Grant right behind him:)

He's already had back to back 1200 yard season and 11 TD's last year and Mathews hasn't even played in a real meaningful NFL game yet...I think you got the better of the 2...
