Saturday back at practice

Jeff Saturday returned to the Indianapolis Colts’ practice field this afternoon for the first time since undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery three weeks ago.

The team’s Pro Bowl center went through position drills with a sleeve on his right knee. He has been rehabilitating the knee since having it scoped on Aug. 10, a process that has forced him to miss the first three preseason games.

Saturday, 35, has started 156 games since being signed as a free agent in 1999. He earned his fourth Pro Bowl appearance last season.

Amazed he's still playing and will be shocked if this isn't his last year. Colts need to (again) give OL a serious look next year.

I know. They better get serious! Next year they actually may play somebody too if there isn't a work stoppage.

BTW, wasn't Mike Pollack a pretty good center in college? I know he currently plays guard, but seriously - while it's not a premier (or big name) position, he is playing with one of the games best centers.
