Sherry question - bier or det?

Having a party this weekend and planning on serving some Sherry Amontillado. Never had it before, but wondering how to serve it?

Chilled or room temperature?

Type of glass to use - port, wine, shot?

TIA for any assistance.

ETA - Any suggestions on when to serve (before or after dinner) and what to accompany it?

I've got a cask in my basement....follow me....just a bit further....

Funny you should mention it ... my step-son is taking his first foray into amatuer film-making (short versions) and we are having the world premier of "The Cask of Amatillado" at our house in a few weeks. They used various parts of the house and yard to film it. I got several bottles of Gonzalez-Byass Amontillado "Del Duque" to celebrate the showing with his cast & crew. Should be a real fun time.

I'll take bier's advice and get some nice cheese & olives.

Cheers!
