Chadman
Damn, if that's the case, I have seriously overpaid for Mendenhall. Oh well, we shall see.

JUMbotron
Apparently they call him "Red Zone" Redman... when did that nickname come about? Still, though Mike Tomlin said Redman is the short-yardage guy, he also added that Mendenhall will be the primary third-down back, which should make Mendenhall-owners feel a little better. bushwacked
yawn I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe or maybe not. However, the timing and type of coach speak is eerily similar to Steve Slaton last year.
burton
Arians: Mendenhall will be goal-line back RotoWorld Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said Thursday that Rashard Mendenhall will remain the goal-line back after all.The report comes from ESPN 1250 Pittsburgh's Ken Laird, a reliable voice on Steelers matters in the past. Though coach Mike Tomlin indicated that Isaac Redman would receive an opportunity to nail down the short-yardage job, the Steelers may just be planning to use him on third- or fourth-and-short to save Mendehall's legs over the course of the game. Mendenhall remains a low-end RB1 and a good bet for 8-10 scores.
