SLAYER
was around yesterday, today it slowly starts climbing. By tomorrow it's all out party time complete with parades, concerts to followed by the lowering of the Super Bowl Championship banner. Oh yea after that there will be a football game. For those that know about NO, basically from noon tomorrow the CBD will close, work stops(pretty much), people pour out into the streets and party. I can't wait to see their plan to limit foot traffic around Jackson Square for Dave. Yes the 2010 season is about to beginand it will begin just like last year ended with a Saints victory. SLAYER
On a serious note, this game has me more worried than the NFC Championship game. Minny comes in with a chip on their shoulder and we come in from the party. Guess we'll see how good Payton really is and how well they pull together. The D has me worried esp at LB, offensively I believe we are better.

Our WRs corps is weakened significantly without Rice, and I don't know if Harvin is really in game shape yet. He's healthy in terms of the migraines, but I don't know about his conditioning. We're rather shallow at WR right now unless Berrian pulls his head out of his ass. We're short handed in the secondary, which does not bode well when the Saints line up 4 WRs, and our offensive line couldn't stop a group of octegenarians with walkers right now. Still, I'm getting stoked for this game as well.
CaP'N GRuNGe
Yep, the Saints should handle the Vikings given some of the issues Minnesota is dealing with right now. We'll see if that hangover is in full effect or not. Obviously I hope Minnesota punches NO right in the mouth.
kingfish247
Yes the 2010 season is about to beginand it will begin just like last year ended with a Saints victory. As a Falcons Homer, have to say kudos to the Saints...great city, great team, classy players, good coach. Much deserved. NFC South is just better when the Saints/Falcons are its bellwether teams. myhousekey
We're going to be thin at LB having lost Fujita's replacement Casillas for the year (and I have a bad feeling Vilma sits). But thats the nature of the game and both teams are going to be missing key components so you just play with the guys you have. I've heard some talk we'll play more 3-4 this game and am hoping we can see some more of Junior Gallette who has been a pass rushing machine this preseaon. I rewatched the NFC championship game last night and will be intrigued to see how much the Vikings miss Chester Taylor on 3rd downs. If we can protect Brees and give him time I like our chances. Definitely excited for some football! ETA: Hopefully they televise the banner drop as well as Brees leading the Who Dat chant after the coin toss. Chief Dick
I think the Saints are gonna kick the crap out of the Vikings. Something like 31-10. While the Vikings will want to prove something, so will the Saints. And Peyton is great at preparing his players, especially for big games. myhousekey
Saints Injury Report: Arnoux & Ivory are out, Strief is questionable. Vilma, Hargrove and Porter are probable.
