12D3
Priest Holmes, LT, Shaun Alexander, AP? I know it could be statistically proven, but in your opinion who was the best overall fantasy player of the past 10 years? And a secondary question would be, what player held the biggest gap between themselves and the number 2 pick during any year in the past 10 years? MustOfBeenDrunk
for me it would be Priest Holmes because I got him in the 8th round the 1st year in KC coming off an injury and everyone laughed at me for making the pick. over all i would say Westbrook, LT or maybe Moss or Manning
12D3
I had like a 6 year gap of playing FFB so I remember the Priest/Shaun Alexander/Moss days of dominance, then years later its LT/AP/Brady/Manning. LT was the number 1 pick for several years in a row. The past few years it has changed. How many years in a row did AP get as the undisputed #1 pick? Only last year? 2008 LT? (didnt play, have no clue) 2009 AP 2010 CJ
ChampSampson
Marshall Faulk, Preist Holmes, Rich Gannon, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady

12D3
Agreed. I completely forgot about Faulk. He was a god in his prime.
Capt. Stanky
Any list has to start and end with Marshall Faulk. I remember a season where a buddy of mine traded practically his entire team for Marshall. He ended up making it to the superbowl that year with Faulk and a bunch of waiver/FA crap. delfamdelfam
Faulk, Holmes, and LT probably top the list, but Brian Westbrook needs some love.
Shorttynaz
Are we talking about just the players you listed or anyone? I wouldn't count out Peyton Manning either. The dude is a lock for 25-30 points a game, and has been for the past 7 or 8 years.. Sure, a RB may have a better "season" than Manning, but have they had the consistency over that length of time??? I'm not saying he's the best, but in my opinion he's right up there - top 2 or 3..

chaz13
Kurt Warner dominated with the Rams for several years then came back to do it again in Arizona.
Shorttynaz
Kurt Warner dominated with the Rams for several years then came back to do it again in Arizona. Sucked in New York for a year, and then struggled out of the gates for AZ. Well worth mentioning, but I woulnd't put him in my top
JUMbotron
Over the whole decade? Randy Moss. He's been top-5 at his position a whopping 8 times in his career. Periods of overwhelming dominance, always a nice buy in the 2nd round, never let you down except for one year in Oakland. JUM
Puddy
Marshall Faulk, Preist Holmes, Rich Gannon, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady 4 out of 5 ain't bad.
Seahawks21
Peyton and Moss. Running backs are probably more important in their prime, but if you are talking about for the duration of the entire decade, you just won't see RB's that will be top-5 backs more than a handful of times. Peyton has been at or near the very top of the QB's for just about the entire decade. For the most part Moss has been the same way, minus "the Raiders years." I would bet Peyton has put more fantasy owners into the money than any other player, maybe in fantasy football history.

devi0us
Moss was the man but can we get some love for Marvin Harrison? This guy was as consistent as they come.
choptalk
I know it was only 3 or 4 years, but Terrell Davis had a great run.

ChampSampson
4 out of 5 ain't bad. Rich Gannon absolutely dominated the 2002 season. Back before the QB position really took off like we know it today. A long those lines was Daunte Culpepper's 2004 season...in what is "the quietest season" a standout player ever had. Shadowed by Peyton Manning's 49TD season...
JUMbotron
Going back through the years, Marvin Harrison was more lethal than I thought. He was a top-5 fantasy WR six times since 2000. Plus another #1 finish in 1999.
KUBJPO01
Marshall Faulk for me.
