He got lambasted the first play of the season. Shook it right off. ESPN had some closeups, the next few series & he looked like one cool customer. I sat him for ASmith due to the matchup. Then he runs down Cromartie on the INT. I don't think I will sit him again, except maybe when the 9ers play my Lambs. I think he is going to be a real good one, NFL & fantasy.

I agree. I thought Flacco looked real solid. Threw for 250 on the road against the best pass D on opening night in their new stadium with a crazy crowd. AND he should have had 2 TD's. Heap has to catch that first one and he missed a wde open McLain on a 2nd.

 

If he can do that there, I feel REAL good with him as my QB now.

 

I was a little concerned with him as my starter, but now I am real comfortable. I think he's in that 7-9 or so range from here forward.

 

And let me add, Boldin is a beast. If he stays healthy they have a great combo there.

I wouldn't go quite that far - had his share of errant throws including a laughably bad whiff in the end zone to a wide open guy.

 

That said, I agree he'll have a fine year. Woulda loved him as my backup.
