piratesownninjas
And he's carted off the field. Man, my runningbacks corps of Ryan Grant, Beanie Wells and Ryan Mathews are killing it.

12D3
Yeah, he was my RB2 in a few of my leagues. I just lucked out with the Grant injury because I had Best as his backup, but this one will hurt me.

piratesownninjas
Yikes. Did it look bad a la Grant from last week? Camera angle couldn't get it. It looked like it could have been bad. But as BEM just said, Mathews just jogged onto the field with his helmet. He then ran over to his RB coach and told him he's back... piratesownninjas
Letting the other thread continue not discuss Mathews. According to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, Ryan Mathews' ankle injury is not believed to be significant. Analysis: La Canfora reports that Mathews has a chance to play in Week 3. Though he did not return to Sunday's game after the injury, Mathews' X-rays checked out OK, and he could've gone back in had the Chargers needed him. Mike Tolbert was playing awfully well, however, and the Jaguars were beating themselves. Check back Wednesday for an update on Mathews' practice status.
