Slugs3511
Ok, ok, I get it Turner is the starter, however, everytime this guy plays, he makes plays, Snelling that is.... I think that Turner has just been too injury prone over the last couple of years and that they need to play this guy more now with Norwood being hurt.... Turner looked a little bit slow, maybe bc of his groin, but I could see him taking over the reigns soon....
lkirc
Turner was rolling up huge yardage before he got hurt. The backup always looks better. Turner was "that guy" in SD. I will admit Snelling looked great, but I don't think Arizona brought their defense. You really think ATL should turn the reigns over to Snelling? NoSupe4You
You really think ATL should turn the reigns over to Snelling? I do, but that is because I have Snelling on my roster and don't care how Atlanta does as far as wins and losses.

WEll he must have been doing something right on his 9 carries for 75 yards before the injury, including a 21 yarder where he bursted through the hole... When he is healthy, there is no doubt he's the man in the backfield. In fact, the coaching staff claims that Turner could have come back in that game had it been close. But if there is one thing that Snelling has proved better than Turner at, it's pass-catching.. So with Norwood out, you can expect him to be the third-down guy and probably be due for 5-10 carries a game. But just like it was early in the Arizona game, Turner will still be the workhouse and goal-line back, barring any lingering injury. The job is still Turner's to lose, and after racking up over 70 yards early in the game, there's no indication here that they'll take him out for a guy who has a similar type of skill-set, and is valuable as Turner's backup. gardenthug
I own Turner and I couldn't even get Snelling off the waiver wire this week. I obviously tried, but I wasn't going to empty the bank to merely aquire a handcuff. The guy in my league who picked him up dropped more than 1/2 his waiver cash. The guy in my league who blew his whole wad on Brandon Jackson is already regretting that decision. Snelling won't get more than 5-8 carries, as long as Turner is healthy.
