Is this guy a steal to be on the wire or just a few good games not much to get excited about? would you unload a ton for blind bid points for him? FWIW I would be unloading a guy like Gafney or Bess (etc.) for Walter He's definitely in the "Welker-lite" category. 2007-8 he had 65 catches for 800 yards and 4 scores. 2008-9 was even better, 60 catches for 899 and 8. Last year he missed a few games but still managed 53 for 611 and 2. Definitely worth a look in PPR formats, I'd say. Like Welker, he's a favorite of his QB in "chain-moving" situations. Teams absolutely have to key on Andre Johnson and Jacoby Jones is good enough on the other side to pay attention to. On top of it, the Texan TEs are typically dangerous as well. Edit: Gaffney appears to be losing a ton of flavor with Royal looking decent and Thomas now in the mix. Bess doesn't have the same appeal with Marshall around. This is a big reason why Walter and Jones are both having success because the Texan TEs aren't as consistent with Daniels not being all the way back, therefore, the WRs are seeing more work.
