Bree22
Is he done this year? this offense is bad but was hoping for garbage yds and TDs because of that but nothing so far. Are that bad that they cant even get yds and a garbage TD against a prevent D? any thoughts? I hate eating up roster spots. but name is to much drop but he has no value to trade him. loaf
I subscribe to the if he's not on my roster, he's not on yours. So far he's sucked. You might want him on another team's roster. I do.
Avernus
I want to see what he does in weeks 4 and 5...I think he could post back-2-back quality outings which might make him worth trading.... or he could stink it up and I'll drop him completely... moopyjiggles
imo he is a complete waste. Not him personally but his situation b/c of how bad his qb is. I think there would be a lot o guys better on waives.Mike Thomas (Jax) for example is a good one. there HAS to be better options than bowe. HE's just a name
BeeR
IMO it'd be stupid to cut him now. The season is still very young.

Bree22
I agree that it is tough to drop him now but is it so tough to hold on to being that he is not suppose to be a sleeper WR. It just kills me that a team playing this bad cant even get a little garbage time numbers. But I guess giving him to week 5 to see transpires is not to much to give this situation. My WW is pretty thin (very deep benches). Just have to hope there is something on the WW at that time. Thank you guys for your insight. WildTurkey
I bought into the Bowe "has his head on right" hype that everyone pimped before the season. I started him week 1 and didn't last week. Cassell looks like a noodle armed chump thus far and the offensive philosophy seems to be eat the clock with Thomas Jones 2 yard falldowns and the occasional loft to Moliaki or whatever, coupled with a few charity cutesy runs by Charles and McCluster, who for some reason just can't be released into the wild, they're just too delicate and would be eaten alive or something. The Chiefs D/ST is the best fantasy player on the Chiefs, and in real life, it's the only reason they're 2-0.

KC is 2-0 so I don't know what garbage time and prevent Ds you think they have faced. I don't expect this to keep up though and they should have some garbage time in the future. Also they have a new offensive cordinator this year and Weis playbook may take them a little time to get comfortable with. If anything I think Bowe might be a buy low candidate since it shouldn't take much to get him. I don't necessarily think that he is going to live up to his draft position, but still to valuable to dump.
Unbelievable
I have a ww bid pending for him. Dropped Gaffney to get him. I've got Marshall and DJax as starters so I've got time to wait on him to came around. I don't recommend him to a team needing a quick fix. Avernus
I predict a big fat 0 in week 4. why is that? week 4 and 5 are @ Indy and @ Hou...those games will be big for Charles, Cassel and maybe even Bowe...
michaelman
bowe or the playbook.. or coach or team is not the problem... Cassel is
lennykravitz2004
I'm playing Jacoby Jones over Bowe this week - and that's with AJ as my other WR. Tightrope, yes... crazy, maybe... best option I have this week, yes.
CowboysDiehard
I dropped him to pick up Tolbert in one league, and dropped Chambers to pick up Tolbert in another.

Nice recap. lol @ holding back your best and most explosive players. They shoulda traded for Marshall so he could help keep the benches nice n warm. why is that? week 4 and 5 are @ Indy and @ Hou...those games will be big for Charles, Cassel and maybe even Bowe... That's weeks 5 and 6 Mr math expert. Week 4 is a bye. And my apologies to your opponent that week who I might have just cost an easy win. Avernus
I have been burned even as recently as 3 years ago on dumping a WR I had a good hunch on at this point in the season... I guarantee that even if it takes half the season, him and Cassel will be putting up some points in the last 7 or 8 games... don't let him be another teams hot W/W target when it's too late.... he's perfect if you have a QB like Rodgers because his bye is week 10....things to consider... as for Bowe...he's too good of a talent, he will turn it around late in the season when the Chiefs still only have 2 or 3 wins and it's week 8...(even if they do start 3-0 which is very possible imo )
