LosGatosEnFuegos
He busted out a 23 yard run that got called back for holding. How does he respond? He breaks a 24 yarder the next time he gets the ball. How does Haley respond? He puts Jones back in and the drive stalls. Even if they picked it up, that 4th down attempt in their own territory was not a good call.

Menudo
In all my years of following fantasy football, this is the most ridiculous situation I've ever seen. So, at the end of last year, they finally decide to give Charles a chance to carry the load. He responds by having the most yardage and TD's in the NFL during that time. Then, in the pre-season, he continue his 6+ per carry average. His 2nd carry of the year, he takes it 50+ for a TD. Today, he has 3 carries for 42 yards. It is ridiculous. Yes, I am a Jamaal Charles owner in both of my main money leagues. I will NEVER let him go, as I know he is the 2nd most explosive back in the year. If I saw Todd Haley walking down the street, I would seriously give him one of these...........

Menudo
Why give the ball to someone who is averaging almost 12 yards a touch ? Haley said he would go with the hot hand. Charles is definitely banging Haley's wife. That is the only explanation that makes any sense to me.
Qball86
I love how without any names in the topic heading, everyone knows exactly what the discussion will be when they click the link. at the half Charles 7 touches 82 yards Jones 10 touches 36 yards I realize head coaches don't make calls based on fantasy impact but this is crazy. Can anyone see an honest reason Jones keeps getting so many touches? It's not like he's giving Charles a breather.
Menudo
Charles got the first carry of the 2nd half.....hopefully, Haley finally came to his senses. Stay tuned.....
montster
24-3. the rout is on. let's see if haley decides to give the "backup" some work to protect his invaluable "starter."

What sucks is that they are winning, so, Haley will likely not change anything.

splotchman
Yeah, that last long TJ run and TD don't help....but Charles has 140+ total yards. Damn.

I am guessing that CJ is 'the most explosive back', and that Charles, as the 2nd most explosive back, is MORE explosive than one Mr. Peterson, who exploded in a big way today?? I believe that Peterson is the best running back in the league, but, Charles is more explosive. I'm using explosive as in, he is more prone to taking it to the house from 80 yards out than Peterson is.
