Menudo
Obviously, it is WAY too early to get too excited. However, the Steelers are in a unique situation. I think most of us would have been happy with a 2-2 start without our idiot QB, who put himself above the team. I expected it to be a negative distraction, but, it has been the opposite. This team has come out of the gates 3-0, with a chance to go 4-0 next week. The defense has been so fun to watch. Lawrence Timmons emerging as another athletic playmaker makes them even better. They still need Polamalu to stay healthy. I've never seen one player mean so much to a defense. They are good without him, but, they might be the best in the league with him. My biggest positive surprise of the year has been the offensive line. They are greatly improved, especially in the running game. That, combined with Mendenhall's continued improvement has me pretty damned excited right now. If Roethlisberger comes back focused on football, the Steelers could have a memorable season. I was expecting a tough year, but, these 3 weeks have given me hope.

Menudo
Awesome D and a great coach I love Tomlin, but, the real GREAT coach, that I give more credit than anyone, for the Steelers recent success, is Dick LeBeau. The Steelers offenses have been up and down, but, their defense rarely fall out of the top 5 in the league.

I just love how Tomlin keeps this team intense and has absolute control over them. With the big ben distarcion this year you really needed that. Ill always hate the Steelers but you cant ever deny their toughness
