BeeR
14 carries today was a lot more than I expected. Due to lingering issues with Turner or -? Might have to seriously start thinking about him to pick up and stash away.

Jackass
Did you happen to notice that Turner had 30 carries and the game went almost 5 quarters?

Tford
The Falcons ran a lot today. 50 rushes to be exact (6 by Matt Ryan and 30 by Turner along with the 16 rushes by Snelling) One thing to note is that with Jerious Norwood on IR, Snelling becomes not only Turner's handcuff not early downs, but he also becomes the full time 3rd down back. Snelling has always had the best hands out of any back the Falcons have. I wouldn't be surprised if this kind of split is how the Falcons backfield remains unless we get Gartrell Johnson involved somehow.
BeeR
Did you happen to notice that Turner had 30 carries and the game went almost 5 quarters? No I didn't. And your point is.....? How many carries did Snelling get in OT? I'm betting precious few (if any), but admit I can't say. If not, he got 14 carries as the backup RB. I think that's at least somewhat noteworthy FA wise, but to each their own. Yeah why would anyone consider picking a guy like that up. tee hee, giggle. Edited September 27, 2010 by BeeR

You asked if there were lingering issues w/ Turner. My point is that there weren't. Snelling got 5 carries in OT, so 9 in the first 4 quarters (and yes i got an A in Math)

Still think the value as a stash if Turner gets hurt (maybe only in deeper leagues/rosters), is well worth a look.

If Turner goes down, he'll be gold, Jerry! Gold!.
