Sure, report by Week 10 and get credit for an accrued season toward free agency, but why risk a blown ACL for six $100,000 game checks? Then whaddya got? He will sign up for the final few weeks then with SD in a must win game to make the playoffs in week 17 he will "accidently" drop a few key passes costing them a playoff berth and walk off the field with his middle finger sticking in the sky straight into the AJ pressbox. If nothing happens this year, then what happens this off season? Are VJax's rights still property of the SDC? Is the hope that someone is more willing to pay the asking price in the off-season?
