Bolden is a true freshman who came into camp late. He is incredibly talented, though he does make several freshman mistakes. This team has several issues, but, qb is not one of them. I guess LSU, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Florida State, Michigan and Ohio State aren't real teams, as PSU has beaten all of them in recent history. This year will be a grind though. In his first month EVER in college football (with no spring mind you) he has played At Alabama, and At Iowa. 2 of the best and most physical defenses in the country. In 1 months span, on the road. He's gonna have some growing pains. Plus this isn't the same PSU team around him of 2008 and 2009. They've lost quite a bit over the past few years. Speaking of stupid comments. I said he sucks. He does. Anyone who has watched him so far can see that. He makes horrible decisions and throws on a regular basis. If you saw the game and didn't think he sucked, I suggest you re-assess your evaluation criteria and/or get glasses. As to why he sucks, I didn't even go there and not saying as a freshman he "should" tear it up. Nor did I say he would always suck. I simply said he sucks bad NOW. OK? Just saying. Give the guy a break. Most True Freshmen QB's would "suck" with that hand dealt to them. Oh and btw, you get to play both games in Tuscaloosa, and Iowa City. He is going to get better and better throughout the season, and by next year we are going to be talking about an extremely dangerous player. He's a true freshman! What the heck do you expect? There was absolutely NOTHING positive to take away from that performance. I can't believe I'm saying this, but, maybe it is time for JoePA and crew to step aside and allow some youth to take over. But first, credit where it's due: Bolden looked really good before getting hurt today. Figures. But up until then, he has sucked. Really sucked. I notice no one has disagreed w/that. Apparently some of you are related to him and have an issue with me telling it like it is; whatever. And once more, I didn't say he might not be great down the road, and I have nothing personal against him. Nor did I get into why he sucks. That isn't the point. The point is - wait for it - he sucks. If he is better than the rest they have, they have set a new low in PSU QB suckitude.
