TurboCowboy
Dear Mr. Cutler, Please stop taking whatever drugs you're on and hit rehab for a month or so. You have forgotten what you learned in PEE WEE football league. Throw the damn ball away! Get rid of it! Do something! Think! Jay, I'm very pleased to announce to you that I did NOT draft you nor will I ever. You are a pathetic excuse for a quarterback. You have NO idea what the hell you're doing out there and you can't blame the wet field or your O-line tonight. It's you man. You stink! Cordially, Turbo

TurboCowboy
so you are playing against the Giants D/ST Nope. I only have the Bears Kicker, but this display of total ineptness needed a formal letter to Jay.

TurboCowboy
I don't buy the "concussion" excuse. He was performing horribly prior to that hit. He's crying and whimpering in the corner of the locker room right now and blaming everyone but himself for his terrible performance. All of a sudden, as he saw a doctor walking by, he said, "Hey doc! My head hurts. Will you come look at it?"

Hell he probably communicated with the Giants and choreographed the whole head banging into the ground thing just to legitimize his fabrication. 51Butkus
What kind of dufus are your TurboCowboy? The man was severely pressured on every offensive snap and he was sacked an NFL All time high 9 times in the FIRST HALF! That O line couldn't play dead in a western and Cutler was running for his life on every play. Open your eyes, you missed a good game. Pope Flick
With Cowboy in the name, I'm guessing a week 2 loss still smarts.
TurboCowboy
Ok, well, maybe I embellished the story about Cutler whining and crying like a baby in the corner of the locker room a little bit but . . . And, yes, the O-line stunk up the field terribly. And, ok, the DEF was outstanding! But, Cutler deserved a lot of those sacks too. Cutler was waiting far too long on some of those plays looking downfield for long plays instead of reading and reacting faster. You've got to give me THAT! And, maybe Martz is to blame to a degree for designing a system that gets QBs killed. Martz loves to gamble.
whomper
What I found peculiar with Cutler is that he had no "timer " in his head when the rush was behind him. The rush would come. It would go behind him as he would step up into the pocket, but he acted oblivious to the fact that those guys were still behind him. What did he think that once they got behind him they were going to foxtrot with the O lineman into the tunnel ? They eventually hit you from behind. The O line was awful but he showed zero instincts on the field last night. It was unbelievable

MTSuper7
In my main local, I traded Cutler and DeAngelo Williams for Andre Johnson and Felix Jones just before this weekend's games. Pulled that one off just in time... Still have to deal with Cutler in Huddle Ladder, but fortunately I drafted Orton with Cutler. I am thrilled I don't have to rely on Cutler. half_hennessy
Look Cutler was not good but I reckon 6 of the sacks were on the line they were pathetic half of them Cutler had only just dropped back and was getting hit. As for the concussion I actually thought he looked pretty ordinary after i think it was the 5th sack looked real dusty on the sideline then the last one just put him down for the count. The O line was awful but he showed zero instincts on the field last night. It was unbelievable This. It's OK to blame the O-line but unless Cutler's never met them before, he has to know these guys are average at best on a good day, therefore a smart QB makes adjustments, as does a smart OC. Neither Cutler nor Martz qualifies as smart. Arrogant and swaggering, sure, but not smart. You'd think a quick check on the sack count at the end of the first quarter (4 or 5, IIRC) would tell both these buffoons (never mind the Head Buffoon) that some adjustments might be in order but they just seemed to carry on regardless until Cutler got damaged. The definition of insanity is repeating the same actions expecting a different result.
