bark
Reid said he hurt it in the 1st quarter and played through it but is now going through more testing. Hopefully he can play it sound like its going to be a matter of how much pain he can tolerate. Vick has high cartelidge damage in rib 1 and 2 near the sternum and Reid said its going to be a week to week status but also mentioned that they will be think of adding another QB to the roster. Azazello1313
Is that cuz they have concerns about Vick playing or is it an indictment of Kolb? gee, what do you think? vick being named the starter is an indictment of kolb. bringing in a warm body off the street is a matter of necessity with your starter out and no clear third stringer hanging around. . burton
who has a fractured rib ??? McCoy or Vick... ?? "Surprise: LeSean McCoy has a fractured rib" Eagles coach Andy Reid revealed that LeSean McCoy fractured one rib in Sunday's loss to the Redskins.Michael Vick apparently isn't the only one that damaged his ribs on Sunday. McCoy was able to play through the injury, but his status for Sunday's game against the 49ers is now very uncertain. Players can sometimes play through lower rib fractures, but are highly susceptible to aggravation and often have trouble with extended reps. Mike Bell is next up on the depth chart. Yea, so Jeff Garcia plays QB for the Omaha Nighthawk UFL team and the rumor around town is that he may get bought out and brought up to Philly. flemingd
Good point. I guess Reid is the Shanny of QBs? Can this really be asked about a guy that had the same starter for 10 years?

Balzac
Doesn't matter who they put in there - if their O line doesn't improve, whoever it is is going to get hurt

keggerz
project. they're not about to flush the season down the drain. this with regards to Kafka....Garcia has been in the system and would be able to slide right in as the #
MrTed46
this with regards to Kafka....Garcia has been in the system and would be able to slide right in as the #2 IIRC Garcia left the NFL because he didn't want to be a #2 he wanted to start. keggerz
Report: Eagles inquire about Marshawn Lynch same author but here he says that a league source says the Bills contacted the Eagles not sure if Franks knows what the heck he is talking about. A league source said the Bills contacted the Eagles Monday to gauge their interest in veteran Marshawn Lynch, a former Pro Bowl tailback who rushed for 1,000 yards in 2007 and 2008 but has fallen out of favor in Buffalo. countryroads
I am a little confused. I clicked on the topic trying to find out if Mike Bell may be worth a WW pick-up this week but instead it's all about Vick. Maybe the topic should be re-named "Is it time to get Jeff Garcia?" myhousekey
(FFChamps) Philadelphia Eagles Running Back, LeSean McCoy (ribs), was seen practicing today at the Eagles' facility. McCoy was a limited participant in practice this week. Analysis: Its a very good sign for any Fantasy Manager with McCoy on their roster. Since hes practicing today theres a good chance hell play on Sunday, but keep in mind the Eagles play in the Sunday Night game, so the Eagles wont make it official until after the 1st set of games have already been played. Set your rosters very carefully, and leave room to insert McCoy, but also have a good backup plan. If McCoy doesnt play, Mike Bell would take over as the stater.
