Percy Harvin Owners

Now with a viable #1 WR on the team, I think Harvin will flourish once again. Out from the outside and back to a slot/#2 role, I'm hoping that he can put up the same kind of numbers each week as he did last year with Rice on board. He never seemed comfortable as a #1 and had a hard time shaking off the opposing D's #1 DB. Now lining up in the slot and taking advantages of mismatches going against opposing safeties and nickle and dime packages will hopefully pay off finally. Injury concerns aside, he could easily climb his way back to being a solid #2 WR fantasy wise.

What say ye?

I struggled going into this week with who to start, Larry Fitzgerald or Percy Harvin. I finally decided on Harvin and now I feel vindicated. Shoot, if it wasn’t for Favre making a couple of bad throws to him he would have had even a bigger game. I hate to keep Fitz on the bench but after what I saw last night from Harvin it would be very hard to sit Harvin going forward. Now I just have to worry about the migraines.

Just between (all of) you and me, Harvin scares me. The vomiting and migraines, sleep apnea, ambulance,,,

And this hip? Maybe it's because he isn't in game-shape -- because he missed 13 days of camp mourning his grandmother. I don't want to sound callous but 13 days? As much as we bag on Favre, c'mon, he played in a Monday Night game the day after his Dad died. Because he's a pro.

It just seems to me that maybe Percy isn't cut out for this profession.

I'm pulling for him... but I gotta be honest, the second I heard about the ambulance I took a pen and crossed out his name on my draft board.

JUM

Harvin had Revis beat much of the time last night. Favre missing him on a few passes was a bigger issue than Revis trying to guard him in the middle of the field, imo. Harvin is going to be the opposite of a poor man's Wes Welker. He's superior to Wes Welker. He may have migraines on Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday mornings. The higher maintenance will be worth it, imo.
