Hugh 0ne
Wow, awesome, so glad you started a thread for this. This is the kind of breaking news I can only get here at the Huddle. Did I mention how awesome this thread is?

I looked to see what team you were a fan of after reading this meaningless post and I'm now more confused than before I read it

CaptainHook
Ah, no wonder he's excited. The Jags have never won anything. Being tied for first five games in is a big deal to him. Don't worry, the Jags will lose a couple games to lousy teams to make sure they don't win the division. But they'll do just enough for Del Rio to keep his job, which is good for eveyone else in the division. Every few years he beats the Colts and rides it to another paycheck. Jags fans seem ok with that arrangement. That's why they make such a big deal when it happens...

This post confuses me, can you provide some evidence, thanks! I've never seen a division with all the teams with the same record after week 5. Have you? CaptainHook
This post confuses me, can you provide some evidence, thanks! I've never seen a division with all the teams with the same record after week 5. Have you? Why does Del Rio still have a job? Never won the division. Won one playoff game in 8 years. 3 years with a record better than .500. But every once in a while they beat the Colts, and everybody thinks they've turned the corner, then they lose to Houston or some other crappy team and fail yet again. I love having them in the division!
redrumjuice
Why does Del Rio still have a job? I don't know, Wayne Weaver gets to make that decision. He is what we call an 'owner'. then they lose to Houston or some other crappy team (Jax) Hmmmm... this sound eerily familiar... You sure are wound up about this, is this because your QB sacks himself? Or is it because you have brain damage from all the music that was piped into your stadium of 45,000? Or maybe it's because the 'leader' whines about contact in the secondary and mascots performing on the field? I don't know what it is, but get some help stalker! CaptainHook
For the fourth consecutive year, the Dallas Cowboys remain America's team, according to a recent Harris online poll that surveyed more than 2,600 adults. The Colts jumped from fourth to second in the popularity poll, with Green Bay, Pittsburgh and New Orleans rounding out the top five. Jacksonville was the least popular team in the poll. redrumjuice
3 of these teams are in Prime Time this weekend. AFC South - Best Division in Football! All teams 3-2 at week 5 in the NFL has never happened, EVER. p.s. I would like to congrat the vikes, likely one of the worst teams in the NFL, full of over priced, past their prime drama queens. A team who mortgaged their future for the crappy play we see today. They have obviously wasted the talent of AD on this terrible team, while every other team in their division is getting better. Welcome to the cellar of the NFC North for the foreseeable future purple vikes, see you in LA 2015.
whomper
Werent the Jags resigned to giving free tickets to their games with every purchase of a 7-11 slurpee just so they can fill half of their stadium ?

You once said Chris Chambers was a big and tall receiver. That was just pure ignorance.
Rovers
I misspoke. You once said Chris Chambers was a big and tall receiver. That was just pure ignorance. Not really... he isn't a speed reciever, he's a tweener that tries to box out DB's, so he plays like a bigger reciever. I didn't start a thread with bad information, I just posted. You on the other hand, started a thread and "misspoke". Yeah, right. Since when does mediocrity mean a division is the best? You could say the same thing about the NFC East. I don't know what conference you hail from, but I would say they aren't as good as the AFC south. NFC east? Girl, turn off espn glory hole reporting, learn about football. I feel sorry for you, I wish you a good recovery to a true, nfl fan. Fakers want Min vs, Dal to be the game, but how is a game fighting for last place exciting? Indy Wash? GOOD game! Tenn Jax? GOOD Game! Balt NE? WOW! Cle Pitt? Who cares? Minn Dal? Really? 1-3 is important? No.
