Buffalo Chicken Dip

I think this is close to the generally accepted recipe. Spread two packs of cream cheese on the bottom of a baking dish, add in a cup of blue cheese dressing, a couple cans of chicken (or chop up your own chicken breasts), and generous amounts of Franks Red Hot. Cover everything with a layer of shredded mozzarella and pop in the oven at 350 until the cheese starts bubbling.

while i've never made a bcd, i am sure i could come up with something good. is it a cold or warm dip?

could be either i suppose but i was thinking warm. i was hoping to find something w/o blue cheese as the Mrs doesnt go for it. i found some online with ranch and cheddar that look interesting. all of them are heavy on the cream cheese. i will have to finagle something.

i'd season some chicken (on bone) with a spicy rub and roast it until crispy. let it cool enough to handle and shred it. i'd make a butter/franks mixure. i'd toss the chicken in the franks/butter. i'd combine cream cheese, sour cream, and either ranch dressing or ranch seasoning. would have to play with those proportions though. mix it all together with diced carrots and celery. 1st time would have to prob add a little of this or that to get it where you want it.

chicken out of a can  i just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Best Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe Ever:

Buffalo Chicken Dip

2 chicken breasts cooked and chopped

1 cup of ranch dressing

2 pkgs of cream cheese, softened

1 cup of cheddar cheese

3/4 cup of franks red hot sauce (or however much or little to make it as spicy as you want - I personally find 1/2c to be spicy enough).

Beat cream cheese, dressing and hot sauce together with a mixer.

Add chicken and cheddar.

Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes or until bubly.
