chinatown dragons
told myself, against the porous Texans D, I'd give Bowe 'one more chance'...after last week was reluctant... so, who benched/dropped Bowe and who rolled the dice and gave him a shot and was rewarded with a great performance?? Furd
I had him on the bench in 3 leagues.Cut him this week in another

Gunther
I dropped him after being frustrated with him for the first few weeks. But I'm sure someone, or maybe it was everyone, here told me to do that.

jbran23
Started him because of the matchup. All the people that dropped him this week I thought were nuts. If you held onto him for this long why would you drop him right before he plays against the worst pass defense in the league?

piratesownninjas
Started him. I traded for him a few weeks ago hoping that he could do what Braylon Edwards seems to be doing now... Turning it around. the guy is too talented to suck...
Junkyard
Stepped in deep doggy doo-doo this week... Started Bowe over Megatron, simply because I had to set the line-up early and knew CJ might be game-time decision. (1 RB, 1WR, 2 Flex). Lucky to get away with a push on the points, and a W for the week.
fantasyfreak
Started Bowe over Desean Jackson and Braylon Edwards. Now if only I had sat Hakeem Nicks!
faceplant
Started Bowe over Maclin. So I guess that means I made the wrong choice, but it worked out alright. I can't tell you how excited I was when Bowe caught the second touchdown and then how upset I was was when I saw Maclin's 86 yarder.
theeohiostate
Dumped Bowe for D. Branch I could care less about ONE game from Bowe............all those excited about this performance......PLEASE start him against me next week and take 1 catch for 5 yards Tickled to death to have Branch over Bowe now. Branch knows how to catch balls..........every week, not just one in 5.

Hopefully he'll have another big game so that I can trade him away.

Zmod43
He went up a notch this week with his celebration. Ball glued to the hand. Classy but awesome. Ochocinco should be taking notes
MTSuper7
Dwayne Bowe is as hit or miss as it gets. I guess he was worth a spot start vs. the Texans yesterday, but honestly who ever feels good about putting this guy in their lineup? Even with the matchup yesterday, he's nothing more than a spot start guy or bye week plug and pray. Seriously, I would put him on par with guys like Devery Henderson and Lee Evans in terms of confidence level that you're going to get anything out of them. loaf
I sat him and started Danny "19 targets, 12 recepts last week" Amendola and will lose because ot it.
Pip's Invitation
I started him because the Texans Pass D is so bad that you should start ANY QB or receiver playing against them.
BearBroncos
I started him because the Texans Pass D is so bad that you should start ANY QB or receiver playing against them. Exactly! I would have started the Minneasota Golden Gophers QB and Receiver combo against this backfield Just horrible I tell yah! Now, there will be allot of cocky people starting Bowe this week and shortly there after going "what happened?" Don't read much into Cassell and Bowes great day. Cassell is a terrible QB and Bowe is about the same but with WR next to his name.

Seriously, I would put him on par with guys like Devery Henderson and Lee Evans in terms of confidence level that you're going to get anything out of them. This is spot on. Unless I'm desperate for WR depth, I don't draft Dwayne Bowe types, and if I somehow end up with one, I try to trade them after the one or two good games they have. I'll take consistent players over the boom or bust type every time. You simply can't win in fantasy football betting on longshots and upside every week. Sure, you might get beat once by that type of player, but you don't want to start them on your own team, unless you really have no better option. Another reason I don't draft/pick up these types of players is that you never have enough confidence in them to start them, so their one good game comes on your bench. When you finally do start them, they revert to form and dump all over you. Save yourself the headaches trying to determine if they "might" break out any particular week and make your starting decisions easier.
