Missoula Griz
$50.00 per entry with over 220 initial players. 10K plus payout to winner. We are down to 37 left. So far I have used in order: Tennessee Green Bay Minnesota New Orleans Baltimore Pittsburgh I am leaning toward either Kansas City at home against Jacksonville, or Denver at home against Oakland. My son is pushing for Dallas at home against NY Giants, but I have a hard time looking at Dallas seriously. I would sure appreciate some input. MTSuper7
Don't pick Denver to win a home game over Oakland. It's a death trap. Even if Kyle Boller plays for Oakland, stay away... The Broncos seem to struggle at home against the Raiders. The Raiders have won in Denver the last two years, and they lost a close one in 2007. I like Seattle at home over the Cardinals. The Seahawks are playing very good defense right now, and they are usually a tough matchup at home. Also, thinking ahead, when else could you use Seattle? I also have no faith that the Cards are going to go on the road and win with an undrafted rookie QB, so this pick says more about the Cards than it does the Seahawks. The division lead is on the line, and Seattle will come to play.

There is no way I am taking Denver if gradkowski is back.

They are stout vs. the run, and I don't think anyone thinks Max Hall can go on the road and beat them. ETA - The fact that Arizona upset New Orleans before the bye only makes it more likely that lightning won't strike twice. Delicious_bass
As Super7 said, I would avoid the Den-Oak game. Those AFC west div games can be I think Seattle is markedly better at home (particularly on Def) and should be able to take care of the Cards. And to mention someone no one else has yet, I also think Atlanta will bounce back at home this week against the Bungles. Good luck!
T_bone65
I would take Seattle over the Cards. Man I miss my survivor pools Good luck
SLAYER
I say KC and you have some difficult choices in the upcoming weeks considering the teams you used already.
Pope Flick
Atlanta. Home team, not playing a divisional rival = that's the way to go. Too many divisional games are up in the air due to familiarity and I think you're nuts getting into Den/Oak or Dal/NYG even Sea/Ari w/ Ari coming off bye. I don't like KC either because they might be coming back to earth. 2 bad teams = anyone's game.

Atlanta fits that bill this week.

The Bengals are one of those teams that can win a game like this though. I know that one of those unofficial rules is to stay away from divisional games, but how can you honestly look at the Cardinals and raw undrafted rookie Max Hall and feel like the chances of his going into Seattle and beating the Seahawks are greater than the chances of the Bengals (also coming off a bye I might add) going into Atlanta and pulling off a road win? Missoula Griz
I need to have the pick in tomorrow morning which really sucks because I am just guessing at this point. Nothing jumps out at me. Trimmed it down to either Seattle at home or KC at home.

Chief Dick
KC will come out hard in this game. There is some serious pissed-offness in that locker room right now.
Phazool
KC OR SEATTLE. I think both of those teams will win this week. But what do I know, I lost my survivor pool in week 2 when I chose carolina over Tampa bay.

Yes, Cinci is coming off a bye, and you say a lot of worthy things but another thing we haven't mentioned is that Atlanta is a very good team. Seattle is not all that good. So, yeah if they played each of these games 100 times I'd expect Atlanta to win more than Seattle with these opponents. And Arizona's coming off a bye as well... Steelhead
KC bro. their defense is tougher and it's at home. JAC is going to be using that scrub edwards at QB too.
Missoula Griz
Kansas City it is. Pick called in. I appreciate everyone' s feedback. MT Super, you almost had me taking Seattle. It was a coin flip.
Zooty
I like the Seattle logic but I now like KC better Jax will be playing with a QB they just signed (though he has been on and off the roster). Garrard and Edwards, both out
MTSuper7
In light of the Todd Bouman situation, I actually think KC is a slightly better play. If Garrard played, I'd be more tempted to go with Seattle. Either way, you have likely crappy QB play going on the road to a hostile crowd. Not good. ETA... Thinking some more on this... Then again, Todd Bouman might not be a liability. I kind of like the idea of taking Seattle because Arizona had that big win over NO. Like I said, they just seem so much less likely to have lightning strike twice. With the Jaguars, they got humiliated at home, so they could come out with something to prove. I think I'd have still gone Seattle now that I think about all of the implications of Bouman playing. I have more faith in Hasselbeck at home than I do Cassel to win a close game, should there be one. Congrats on the KC pick... And the Broncos already down 21 jut 6 minutes into the game. I can't believe anyone was thinking of taking Denver in a survivor pool this week.
