12D3
I have seen a few strange player drops today. I have seen Malcom Floyd dropped, Mike Wallace dropped and Pierre Thomas dropped. All 3 of these players seem like ones you would hang onto, even if hurting a bit. Anyone else been seeing some strange "desperation" drops? BeerLeagueQB
Is Tim Hightower worth adding? I picked him up in a league after someone dropped him.. but I'm not sure if I should have done that or not...

v0dka
someone dropped celek last week in one of my locals Would Celek be that strange of a drop? I dropped him a few weeks ago and picked up Keller. EDIT: Someone in my league dropped Percy Harvin early to pick up Brandon LLoyd. I have never been so quick to put in a waiver claim for a player, lol. Edited October 21, 2010 by v0dka

I guess I thought it was strange because this is a 12 team league where 75% of the league carries 2 TEs.
dsagen
Someone dropped Run DMC last week. I picked up Bush and wanted Darren as a who is healthy this week backfield.
Scorcher
I think a lot of people don't really think about going for a trade. Taking the time to look for the weaknesses of other teams, can really pay off if you make a viable offer and add sound reasoning to the trade. Making trades is a skill that is just as worthwhile developing as draft skills and can save you desperately jumping back and forth on the WW. He seems relatively worthless in 12 team leagues.

(granted, you picked him up for a reason)
MTSuper7
Do you think Tamme will make an emmediate impact? (granted, you picked him up for a reason) He has a decent chance to make an immediate impact. He'll get plenty of reps between now and the Colts' week 8 game. The biggest quesion mark is whether they trust Tamme enough. He should know the system by now in his third year. Best case scenario is that he gets the majority of snaps that Clark would normally get and that Manning treats him like any other receiving option. Let's just say that his upside is higher than a lot of waiver wire fodder, and probably most of the TEs not in the top 8-10. Worst case is the Colts let Gonzalez or Collie run more of Clark's old routes. I'm thinking they're going to need Tamme to be a controbutor, and like I said before, 60% of Clark's normal production is still valuable. historymike
I picked up Maclin three weeks ago off the waiver wire when his owner panicked after Vick went out in the Washington loss. In the subsequent two weeks Maclin has put up 13 catches, 254 yards, and two TDs.

Favre4ever
A guy in our league dropped Garcon the Wed. before he came back and now he wants to trade Kolb for a WR since he also has DJAX...The funny thing is he's the most conserative guy in our league 3 years 0 trades and he usually never cuts people...
