Roaddog4232
The Huddle has M. Lynch ranked high; however, all others seem to have Woodhead higher.
Tastes Like More
I like Lynch's matchup. Woodhead is splitting touches with the Lawfirm. The Chargers defense is much better at home as well. Lynch is matched up against a weak Arizona D at home with another week to learn Pete Carroll's system. I think Lynch will have a very solid week. Good luck! kenwg
Arizona's run D is in the bottom 10 of the NFL in both yardage and touchdowns allowed. SD is in the top 10. This would suggest you start Lynch, and indeed he will probably do well, although he's sharing touches with Forsett. And Seattle is probably gonna stuff Beanie, but may not be able to Control Hightower, or WR Fitzgerald. If Arizona can get these two going, Seattle's gonna have to go to the air and Lynch will suffer. Could happen... And on the other hand, SD is doing LOUSY this year against tight ends - that's where they've given up most of their yardage and points. And, coming out of the backfield, Woodhead is going to have a very "tight-end" like profile. I think he's going to go big this weekend. Tough call. I'd go with Woodhead (in fact, I am, on my team). Hey, give me a tip on my question please... http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=337559 Thanks
Tripleshot
Lynch - he'll get twice the touches as Woodhead and also get the goal line carries.
historymike
I have been touting Woodhead all week, and I will stick with that call here. His numbers have been going up each week, and the dude has speed and cut ability (he holds the NCAA record with 109 touchdowns, though admittedly he played for a small school). I also question the disparity in predicted touches above, as Justin Forsett is still seeing 10-15 touches a game with Lynch in there. Last week Lynhc had 20 (17 rush and 3 receiving) while Woodhead had 16 (5/11). Remember too that Lynch put up an ugly 2.6 YPC rushing and only 3YPC receiving - his saving garce was the lone TD plunge.

51Butkus
Lynch. Supposed to rain like heck Sunday in Seattle and Lynch is the most talented dude in that backfield.
