The weird thing is they actually would have won this game if their moran coach had challenged the Cutler non-TD.

And NOT the other! Lovie is a bad coach...period!

Bad news is Martz, Marinelli, or Tice will take over.

That is exactly what I'm thinking. The McCaskeys won't want to spend big $ for a real head coach.

As long as Jerry Angelo is gone and replaced by a GM who is will to draft offensive linemen.

Cutler played pretty ordinary thos last three picks were diaper dirthouse but Lovie needs to remove his head from his ass ansd throw the challenge flag normally he has no issues with it. I say sack lovie effective now don't care who takes for the rest of the season the get rid of the lot of them in the offseason including quite a few players and lets start again.

Don't know if he would be the right fit and not sure how well he got on with the McCaskies but maybe Jim Harbaugh could be worth a look would he leave Stanford to go to this stink pile though.

Someone who agrees with my thoughts earlier in this thread that Martz is at least partly to blame for Cutler and the Chicago offense's woes. Jeff Gordon from the ST. Louis Post-Dispatch:

Remember when local fans were clamoring for Mike Martz? Remember how they wanted him back at Rams Park in 2011 to return that franchise to glory?

They might want to rethink that position.

Martz has stuck to his pass-happy course as Bears offensive coordinator, subjecting quarterback Jay Cutler to an epic beating.

After winning its first three games this season – fueling all the pro-Martz chatter in these parts – Chicago has lost three of its last four.

In those losses, Cutler absorbed 19 sacks, threw five interceptions, lost two fumbles and suffered one concussion.

Is “Mad Mike” trying to kill the guy? Apparently he is. It would be more expedient to beat him with a sledgehammer at practice and get it over with.

Martz exposed Kurt Warner to relentless punishment, derailing his career. Then Mike’s unwillingness to adapt cost him coordinating gigs in Detroit and San Francisco.

Bears coach Lovie Smith brought him to Chicago for a do-or-die season with the Bears. Martz apparently chose the “die” option, as we saw again Sunday as Cutler got picked four times by Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall.

Cutler has gone from franchise savior to bum in no time at all. He seems destined to ride out of town in a wheelbarrow.

Unlike Cutler, Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is a great kid. Would you really entrust his future to Martz?

How long would it take "Mad Mike" to have this kid stretched out on a gurney?
