Most Memorable NFL Game?

Several stand out - excluding obvious ones which were "great" mostly because of the outcome vs the game itself:

- 1978 MNF, Pats vs Colts: the "Joe Washington Show"

- 1977 MNF (I think) Colts vs Pats, last game of the season, Colts stormed back from 24-3 halftime defecit to win, needed the win for playoff spot too

- 1985 (?) Colts vs Broncs, Colts sucked and Broncs expected to rout - Colts won something like 55-14 on Halloween. Great not just cuz of that but a "funny" game - at one point the CB lined up as QB in a wishbone lol (might have been strike season and that's why?)

- 1995, Steelers vs Colts playoff game (w/Harbaugh) - even tho I hated the outcome, one hell of a game

- that famous SD vs MIA playoff game - Fouts/Winslow vs Marino basically

I'd like to add that "Immaculate Reception" Raiders vs Steelers but I have to admit that while I saw as a kid, don't remember most of it

Most Memorable ,, not the best

The Catch - explains it's self

Monday Night - Packers crush the Raiders the day after you know who's dad dies

Another Monday Night game when Dan Marino and company beat the Bears stopping them from having the chance to go undefeated

I believe the Bears were 14-0 heading into that game

This gets my vote. We had people over to watch that game, and it was pure entertainment.

The Catch! Montana to Clark in the back of the endzone as he's running from "Too Tall". Boy those were the days as a niner Fan.

Now we have turds like Alex Smith and David Carr. Heck, I would settle for Steve Bono right now!

Damn, that's a ton of games fo me but the early 70's matchup between Johnny U and Joe Willy. All I remember is Unitas skillfully working his team down the field for a score and Namath coming back and just slinging 80 yard bombs for TDs.

Joe Namath throws for 496 yards and six touchdowns as the New York Jets defeat Baltimore, 44-34. Colts quarterback Johnny Unitas throws for 376 yards as the teams combine for a record 872 passing yards.
