STL Fan
ESPN 101.1 FM is reporting that Danario Alexander has re-injured his left knee in practice. He crumpled on a non-contact play after going for a ball and hobbled off the field with training staff scrambling around looking very concerned. Jason Smith, Bradford's backside protection at LT, reportedly suffered another cuncussion after missing 6 games last year with a concussion. More details may be available at 1:30 CT at the coach's presser.
STL Fan
Oops, my bad, I forgot Smith was moved to RT this year and Saffold is playing on the left. Still sucks.

Phantom Knight
I'm holding him in my dynasty. Hopefully, he'll get a few games in this year and will be 100% ready to roll in 2011. I like the kid, I feel bad for him. +

Would you have still made the trade with me had you known about the injury? Brutal timing... I could hardly believe it when I saw it an hour or so after the trade was made official. STL Fan
FWIW, Danario tweeted immediately after his surgery yesterday and said it went well. He seemed in high spirits, and was very positive in saying "see you in 2-4 weeks!" It's got to be hard to stay positive with the bad luck that kid has had, but he is a character guy. I wish him well. That said, I'm probably going to drop him.
