BS Miscreant
Who else out there is winning in spite of their roster? Or maybe "unjustly" losing in spite of their's? Top 3 RBs were/are Charles, PT, Spiller(named the starter just before I drafted him) - I've picked up other guys but to no avail in terms of actual help QBs are Flacco and Palmer (both wildly inconsistent) WRs are Bowe, Lloyd(picked up 4 weeks ago) and R. Moss (overall pretty good lately but scary to say the least) I've been pretty fortunate that I've played the right guys at the right time and the schedules have worked out pretty nicely and yes I know that's a big part of the game but I've been on pins and needles going into every game. In three leagues this is probably my shakiest roster but they have provided me with my best record. And yes I realize that mentioning my "good fortune" is potentially bad juju but it's been a weird year and just wanted to see who else is experiencing this or something like it... Surely a bunch of you. Just curious.

My receicving corps has saved me, Boldin, Collie, Maclin, Fitz(meh), Braylon(eh),Evans(WW add this week), Gates with Rodgers at QB. And now I get to play against you this week with 3 of my best receivers on bye or injured. Second highest point total in the league to date go figure. Bad juju for sure. Actually had our match-up in mind when I started this. Should be an interesting one to watch. Or maybe not. By the way, in another league I have literally no one active on my bench because of byes and injuries.
Phantom Knight
It's just the way the ball bounces. I am only playing in two leagues this year. In one, I have almost NOTHING at rb and besides Nicks not even a strong wr2. My TE are A Hernandez and Winslow. And yet, I am in 2nd place in my division with the 3rd highest points in a 12 man league. In my other league, I have a beastly squad made even better by good ww pickups turned into trades (eg, Lynch was picked up off the ww and then traded for Braylon Edwards. This week, Braylon and R Moss were traded for B Marshall). I have the 2nd most points in the league by a lot - 120 points. At the same time in this10 team league, I have the 3rd lowest points scored against me. And yet.... I have a losing record.
bushwacked
I thought this might be about the Seattle Seahawks.

Must have a howitzer or two hiding behind curtain #2.
