Grits and Shins
This week of my 9 starters, 7 of them were UNDRAFTED, three of them I acquired THIS week. And I will set the weekly high this week
The Grey Pilgrim
Bad drafter, but great week by week waiver wire manager. A win's a win, and high point money is high point money.
CowboysDiehard
Dude, eight of nine were off the WW for me this week. Posted 181 pts, the #3 spot all time in the league's weekly scoring... Kitna (WW) Blount (WW) BJGE (WW) Austin (Drafted) Lloyd (WW) Bess (WW) Tamme (WW) Carpenter (WW) Lions (WW) There may be hope for this season after all...on the other hand, this crew could top out at 50 in a week just as easily... I left BJE on my bench, but he is another of my pick ups. Started this week: Fitzpatrick (acquired this week over Kitna - Schaub on the bench) Torain (dumped Portis for him earlier in the year) Fitzgerald (drafted in the 2nd round) Wallace (drafted in the 6th round) MWilliams TB (picked up early in the year) SJohnson (picked up a couple of weeks ago) JTamme (picked up this week) J.Reed (replaced Prater) STL (picked up this week) Next week's lineup will have Turner in for Torain and PHI in for STL (maybe)
CowboysDiehard
How are you doing with that roster? Until this week, I was #10 in scoring (moved up a few spots now by doubling my weekly average in one week), but had gotten lucky and am now 5-3. In all likelyhood, would have been 6-2 had Romo not gotten hurt Lost that game by only seven.

At the beginning of the season I wouldn't have drafted any of those players (other than Austin) Most of them got a chance to step up and make a nam for themselves due to injury. The sole exception would be Lloyd. He was 1 of 3 recievers in Den and no one knew who was #1. Lloyd emerged and have performed. btw i'm sorry u had to start the lion DST... Between bad drafting and bad coaching I'm 3-5. Good news is that the best wildcard right now is 5-3.
theeohiostate
I only have 2 of 13 original players i drafted. Leading in points this year. The WW has been more instrumental for many FFer's this season, then any past year I know of.
buddahj
I'm trying to trade away what's left of my drafted team. This has been a bad year for me.
Balzac
This thread makes me sad - what kind of leagues are these where entire successful teams can be gotten off waivers? Are your leagues populated by fat old women?

Are your leagues populated by fat old women? At 3-5, I wouldn't call Grits' team 'successful', and I've caught a couple of breaks with my matchups combined with opponent's injury and bye week situation. I highly doubt my team will be able to consistently perform down the stretch. That said, do know what makes ME sad?
