The lastest Anthony Gonzalez injury

Not really a surprise that he's injured again. Would one assume that when Collie is back that he and Garcon and Wayne would be the clear cut starting WR's with Gonzo and White mixed in occasionally?

Yes.

I think Gonzo was hurt on the late hit out of bounds by that cheap shot artist Bernard Pollard.

+1

He seemed to take a moment (in pain) before getting up and then seemed to have a limp afterward. IIRC, he was still in the game but kinda pulled up on a route where Manning actually threw in his direction. Manning looked like he was frustrated with what AG did and (again, IIRC) it looked like AG looked back and motioned as if to say "I couldnt do it".

Gonzo did not practice for the third straight day and is listed as questionable. Rumor is that he strained the PCL in his left knee. The same injury in his right knee cost him all of 2009.

I hope you're joking
Why? My guess is the hook meant it figuratively and not literally. But he does have a serious durability issue. He's barely played a cumulative total of a full game in two years. He's not quite to Bob Sanders level of a waste of salary, but he's approaching it. Maybe after another lost season or two.
