CaptainHook Posted November 4, 2010 Share Posted November 4, 2010 The status of Clint Session for Sunday’s road test at Philadelphia is uncertain after the Indianapolis Colts’ veteran linebacker suffered a dislocated right elbow and fractured right forearm in Monday night’s win over Houston. Session did not practice Wednesday and it isn’t certain if he’ll practice this afternoon. “The kid’s a warrior, plain and simple,’’ Harold Lewis, Session’s agent said. “I’ve never seen anyone play through pain like that.’’ Session suffered the injury in the second quarter of the Texans’ game when he attempted to tackle wide receiver Andre Johnson. Session dislocated his right elbow and fractured his right forearm in Monday's win over Houston. A source with knowledge of the situation confirmed Session will not require surgery to address his two injuries. "He is not going on IR. No surgery, just rest,'' the source said. It's uncertain if Session will play Sunday at Philadelphia. He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. Although Session might be able to play if he can deal with the inevitable pain in his right arm, the team might opt to rest him for an undetermined time so he'll be ready for December and the playoffs. Session ranks fourth on the team with 38 tackles, including 31 solos. from indystar.com I just updated the IDP Game Breakdowns with the following: Clint Session (elbow) did NOT practice all week and is listed as QUESTIONABLE on the injury report. He has yet to be officially ruled out but Adam Caplan of Fox Sports has reported that the Colts will NOT place Session on injured reserve due to his dislocated elbow and fractured forearm. Yes, I said dislocated elbow and fractured forearm. Tyjuan Hagler will move into a starting role this week due to the injury but I am going to go out on a limb and rank Pat Angerer as a 4 star play as I think that the Colts will slide him into the WLB spot usually manned by Session. In fact, a source with knowledge of the situation said Session probably will miss at least two weeks while the team continues to evaluate his injuries. The thing that worries me about Angerer is that he has been practicing all year as Brackett's back-up in the middle. Last week he practices and takes over Sam for Wheeler. Well they could move him to MLB and Brackett to WLB but I would think that leaving Brackett in the middle would be better and just let Angerer seek and destroy from the WLB spot rather than having to make the MLB calls and such...especially if Hagler plays SLB, which he has done in the past.
