Rovers Posted November 4, 2010 Share Posted November 4, 2010 On a biz trip nearly 20 years ago, I had the most incredible lobster bisque in a Sheraton near Boston .... best soup I have ever had, and no other has ever come close... ever. I am generally very frugal when I cook, simple, fast, relatively healthy, cheap, but I would rob a bank to get a lobster bisque as good as that was. I've had some great soups, especially NE clam chowder, but that bisque was freakin amazing. Thick, creamy, and the lobster flavor came through it all as the dominant flavor. Easilly one of the top five culinary treats I have ever experienced... maybe even the best ever. Anyone with a killer recipe out there? I don't care if it takes 10 hours to make...
