However, the first quarter is just about over, and Jamal Charles has exactly ONE touch. Meanwhile, Thomas Jones has 5 carries for 7 yards. I watch Charles week in and week out. He is one of the best backs in football, and he is continuously limited by Haley's continued use of Thomas Jones. I know, I know, the Chiefs are doing well. They could be doing better. Limiting the touches of a guy as explosive as Charles, limits your chances to make big, game-changing plays........and yes, it limits both of my fantasy teams chances of scoring more points. I'm just messing with you... I feel your pain on Charles. Traded him a couple weeks ago in the only league I had him in. Couldn't take the randomness of the distribution anymore. He was the best RB in the league over that period of time. They reward him by bringing in Thomas Jones as a free agent. In the pre-season, Charles continues to show that he is far superior to Thomas Jones. The season starts, and Charles continues to show that he is one of the most explosive backs in the league, continuing to average over 6 yards per carry. He continues to out-perform Jones in every way, yet Jones starts and gets the majority of the snaps. He is a guy who can score every time he touches the ball. It just doesn't add up and it is infuriating. O.k. I'll stop repeating myself, because if I keep it up, I'll soon be writing "All Work And No Play Makes Menudo A Dull Boy" over and over again. Yeah, imagine what they could be doing. Charles has proven over and over again that he is the real deal. 3 touches with 5:27 left in the half should be punishable by law. Charles can get a single yard and has proven it moreso than Jones. Put him in for some 3 and 1, 4 and 1 opportunities. That said, nice catch Moeaki ... he is a stud. Really? Can't you get your ball to your #1 Receiver? Not really the same thing. Bowe is on the field. He's just not presenting himself as the best option.
