lkirc Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 As a Vernon Davis owner, I am certainly interested in any info out there, but I will share my take on it. I think he is just generally banged up. He has a sore ankle, sore knee, sore everything. I am counting on the bye week to heal him up well enough to crank it out the rest of the season. BearBroncos Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 IIRC, Davis made a statement after the win over Denver stating that he could have gone back in but that's from the player, not any trainer or coach. From everything I've read, I think Davis will be good to go but who knows how well he will perform with Troy Smith. I hope no one is reading into his win last week. Three weeks back I told a friend in my league that had Cooley that he might want to pick up that Tamme kid from the Colts. Why didn't I do it myself???
