Furd
Well, how is the stiff going to perform? Is he going to be serviceable, with garbage time points? Is he going to repeat his putrid performance in Green Bay? Is he even going to finish the game, given the Giants' penchant for knocking out QBs? What effect with the coaching change have on his numbers? I'm thinking that he's going blow, but I I don't follow the Cowboys at all. What say you? TIA
DMD
Kitna could be okay but there is no rushing support and questionable line play to protect him. Given the mounting losses, they may opt for McGee to start since Kitna probably won't be back next year.

You must have Rivers, Rodgers or Brees to be asking this question. The coaching change might light a fire, but I wouldn't expect much. The only Dallas player that feels like a safe start these days is Dez Bryant.
Chloroform Rx
they need to do shorter routes, slants, screens to Austin! I don't know if you're being sarcastic (as an Austin owner?) or not, but this was actually my summation during the game. It seemed like they were either handing the ball off or throwing deep. With the exception of the screens to Bryant which accounted for like 5 catches and 6 yards.
CowboysDiehard
They should start punting on 1st down.
Scorcher
They should start punting on 1st down. You Cowboys fans are funny in your cynicism!
Kid Cid
They should start punting on 1st down. That would be a great strategy if the D could hold anyone to under 30 points. Here's what I think about Kitna. I just don't see Jason Garret lighting a hugh fire underneath this team because he was part of the existing regime and the playbook is essentially going to be the same. 11-27 for 180 yards 1 TD 3 int

CowboysDiehard
I think the bigger question is whether Kitna makes it through the game in one piece. Not that he is a 'choice start' against NYG at any rate, but for those of us who lost Romo and are trotting out a low-end QB2 (or worse) on a rotating basis every week, the idea that he may get knocked out should be considered. We need every point from that position we can get. Unless he can make it into garbage time, Kitna is useless.
