RussMan
Terrell Owens has 41 catches for 618 yards and 7 TDs in his last 5 games. It’s the most yards Owens has ever posted in a 5-game stretch in his entire career. He’s on pace for 110 catches and 1,540 yards, which would both be career highs. Owens turns 37 next month. delusions of grandeur
Terrell Owens has 41 catches for 618 yards and 7 TDs in his last 5 games. Not surprisingly, the above quotes are actually taken from JUM's article this week , but to my surprise, also from another fantasy site. Not sure if this was intentional plagiarism in the case of the above poster (nor do I care about that, just curious where I'd read it), but as I read on, it became a bit more troubling... http://fantasygodfathers.com/articles/2010...r-death-news-2/ The entire article is literally word for word, bullet-point for bullet-point identical with JUM's "Behind the Numbers". Obviously this can't just be a simple mistake, so what gives guys? I'll always defend the Huddle to the death, but am displeased to be paying for premium content that is being either distributed or plagiarized elsewhere for free. It does appear that the other site is the one doing the 'stealing' because of the 'huddle up' bullet. But I agree, it pisses me off that I am paying for this content when others don't have to. I've been in the business for 10 years and never heard of them, they must be brand new. There is a funny part to this. Not only do they totally jack this copyrighted material, paste the article without a link-back, change "Huddle Up" to "Godfather View" and remove my name and The Huddle's name.... for some reason they decided to add their own spin to the bonus piece on Terrell Owens. Godfather View: Owens is turning into one of the greatest draft steals along with Arian Foster. We would consider selling high on this guy if the offer is right. Once the weather turns frigid in Cincy they will commit to the run more and it would be unrealistic to think T.O. can keep up this pace at 37 years old. That part, they wrote on their own. 20 seconds of work for them, 5 hours for me! Edited November 10, 2010 by JUMbotron
Tripleshot
Methinks it's about time everyone realizes that TO is still for real and not overrated by any means. Personally, I don't see this as a fluky, late-career hot streak but the result of someone who works his arse off and a representation of what the guy is still capable of doing(although he should definitely be giving mad props to Ochocinco for drawing double teams - which makes me wonder when defenses are going to start double teaming TO instead...). The dude is flat-out producing.
Whiskey Pimp
My concern with TO is that now that the Bengals are completely out of any shot at the playoffs does the train come off the track? Does TO start to pout if he has a bad game or two or does he keep this up for the entire year?
