ericchow
Who should the Panthers start at a record 1-7 and the Nfc South being the best divison or atleast second best division in the NFC this year who should the panthers try and start I thinking Tony Pike Remember last time the panthers went 1-7 they ended the season 7-
MTSuper7
These Panthers have no prayer of finishing 7-9. They have OL problems galore, and their QB play is going to hurt them more than even Delhomme did that year. Having said that, why not give Tony Pike a shot? They know what they've got in Clausen (or at least they've seen enough to know where he's at developmentally). These two guys are probably the future of this franchise (or at least one of them probably is), so let them compete for it. Give Pike a couple weeks to prep with the 1st team and see how he does. I would venture a guess that Clausen will end up being the long term answer if I had to pick between these two guys.
